Best Halloween Houses in Kelowna & the Okanagan
The Okanagan has quietly become one of the busiest corners of our map. Kelowna and West Kelowna homeowners added more pins than any other area in British Columbia this season, and the valley’s south end, from Summerland and Penticton down to Oliver, has a growing list of yards worth the drive.

Late October in the valley usually means cool, dry evenings that are good for walking a neighbourhood, but darkness falls early, so most displays are at their best from about dusk onward. Many of the homes below list a fire pit, fog or motion-triggered lights, which all look better once the sun is down.
Where the pins are right now
The live map currently shows 30 houses, candy stops and attractions in this region, by town: Kelowna (11), West Kelowna (6), Penticton (4), Summerland (3), Westbank (3), Lake Country (2), Oliver (1). The count changes as homeowners add or remove their own pins, so the live Halloween house map is always the most current view.

Local tips for a great night out
- Plan a loop rather than a single stop. Several Kelowna and West Kelowna pins sit within a short drive of each other, so the Map My Tour planner can chain them into one route.
- Check each pin’s description before you go. Some homeowners note side entrances, carport walk-throughs or “knock on the door” instructions.
- Hillside streets in West Kelowna and Lake Country can be dark and narrow. A flashlight and reflective strips on costumes make a big difference.
